Under the default settings, competition posts and your profile will be public; however, you may adjust your privacy settings and review the exposure of each competition before entering/creating it. You also have the option to allow us to populate your profile with information you have provided to other websites, such as Facebook.

2. Privacy Relating to Specific Gloveslap Activities

Voting

All voting on gloveslap.com is anonymous, which means other users will not have access to any information relating to your voting behaviour nor will they know whether or not you have voted. If you want others to know about your selections, you will have to take it upon yourself to tell them. We do this to keep the site honest and unbiased.

User Specific Information

Information specifically related to your profile (i.e. your name, age, score, gloveslaps, past activity, etc.) and your activity on the Website will be viewable by all other users of the website. Under the default settings, any user may browse your profile (stat) page, become your fan and follow your activity. By selecting a private account under the settings at the top right corner of the screen, only the people that you approve will be able to declare themselves your "fan" and view your score, your active competitions, and your detailed profile. Others will only see your profile picture, your name, and username.

Content Provided in Competitions

Public competitions (those that allow anyone to participate and watch) are viewable by anyone who lands on the Website. Any user may adjust the privacy settings upon creation of a competition to only allow select individuals to view the contents of the competition. Information relating to the level of public exposure is made available to anyone viewing a competition. We recommend that you carefully consider the privacy settings associated with a new competition before creating it and analyze the settings of an existing competition before entering it. You should only provide Content that you are comfortable sharing with others under these terms.

Gloveslapping

A gloveslap is a competitive notification or challenge, which may or may not be directly related to an existing competition. By default a gloveslap is a private challenge, but any user may choose to make their gloveslap "public", meaning that it will be viewable by all other users, and show up on the home feed (the stadium) of those users who are fans of the sender.
